Heathers is a social show with an engaged audience. The first promotional tease for the show was during the VMA’s so we needed an instagram to start engaging the audience from the start.
After we acquired the @heathers account, I worked with the social team to create a grid that teased the characters and their personalities, often working as cover images for videos. We also worked in many of the actual props from the show to act as easter eggs for when the show aired.
We also announced the new premiere date on social and played with the audience with teasy content and quotes from the show and movie, illustrated in the pink neon look.
